Vajrayana is a kind of Magical Religions in the history of Buddhist thought which emphasizes the magical power and the sanctity of Mandala in illuminating the existence and the perception of truth. In this ceremony, Mandala is a circle of symbolic patterns and signs thatconveys the eternal message and truth through contemplation and ceremonies. In Vajrayana Tradition, mandala represents the image of the eternal and holy world in the existence of the human being and the world. This image, in Buddhist VajrayanaThinking, is the symbol of human life’s mortality, and shows both the destination and the way to it. Therefore, Vajra seeker will be able to travel through the stages of realization, one after the other, and ascend the unity, via understanding Mandala and contemplation about it. In Vajrayana ceremony, Tantra, Mudra, Çakra, Temple, Cosmos and the human are Mandala’s various symbols each of which has had a great effect on Eastern worldview. The findings of this study which are obtained in a descriptive-analytic meyhod,showed that Mandala in Vajrayana is “Wisdom” in theory and "The Way to Salvation” in practice. And, the purpose of practicing it is human’s accessibility to the stage of the presence and cognition of Buddhas.
