مروری بر تمدن هاراپا: راز زبان

چکیده

مطالعه فرهنگ و تمدن جهان نه تنها مورد توجه باستان­شناسان و تاریخ نویسان بوده بلکه برای هر انسانی دارای شگفتیها و جذابیت­های بسیاری است. تمدن هاراپا از فرهنگی غنی برخوردار بوده و بعنوان یکی از بزرگترین تمدن­های باستانی است که نقش بسزایی در پیشبرد تمدن­ جهان داشته است. نمونه­هایی از زبان و شیوه­های ارتباطی مردم هاراپا به شکل گفتاری و نوشتاری توسط محققان ارایه شده که تا کنون کوشش­های علمی نتوانسته به دلیل برخی مشکلات به نحوی شایسته رمزگشایی نماید و همچنان بشکل یک راز باقی مانده است.  نویسنده در مقاله حاضر، ابتدا به معرفی تمدن هاراپا پرداخته و سپس به بررسی مقوله زبان و سیستم ارتباطی آن دوره خواهد پرداخت.

The study of the world's civilization is significant not only for historians and archaeologists but also for the ordinary man. Harappan civilization is one of the greatest ancient civilizations which had considerable effect on the world's civilization. The improvements made by Harappan- the people ofHarappa-can be considered as a basis for modern developments in different domains. The main objective of the present article is to have a survey on the issue of language or means of communication used by Harappan people at that time. The paper first represents a general overview of Harappan Civilization and then, it discusses different views on the formation and development of the so called communication systems, or language.
